The South Bend Stage 1 Heavy Duty Clutch Kit is a heavy-duty OEM-like clutch for those of you who want the comfort of the OEM clutch that can handle the occasional spirited driving event. The disk features durable organic clutch material construction that offers excellent heat dissipation qualities that are combined with a pressure plate that has an increased clamp load when compared to the OEM unit. This means that although it is meant to be a great OEM clutch kit replacement, it will have a slightly higher torque rating for those of you with mild bolt-ons, and need a comfortable clutch to hold the power down.
