The OEM steering rack in GD Subarus operates with a 15.2:1 ratio and 2.7 turns lock to lock, but the IAG 2015+ Steering Rack Swap Kit offers a significant upgrade. This kit ensures proper fitment and functionality of the 2015+ Subaru STI steering rack, which features a quicker 13:1 ratio and only 2.4 turns lock to lock. The result is a more responsive driving experience, requiring less wheel maneuvering for precise and confident control.

INSTALLATION NOTES

While the IAG 2015+ Steering Rack Swap Kit ensures an exact fit for the modern 2015+ Subaru STI power steering rack, installation does require extensive modifications for proper fitment. Professional installation is recommended.These modifications include cutting and sanding the subframe to create clearance for the power steering hard lines. Aftermarket tie rod ends are required and in some cases it may also be necessary to shorten the inner and/or outer tie rod ends to complete the installation.
