This splitter has been designed to channel and maximize the incoming air from your hood scoop so that it makes the best surface contact with your top mount intercooler. Another great benefit is that this splitter will bring cooler, ambient air to improve and lower the overall intake charge temperatures to the top mount intercooler. This will help fight the chances of heat soak so that you can also improve the overall efficiency and performance of current and future modifications you may have.
