This is an important gauge especially if you are a regular participant in high-performance driving conditions where your racecar, rally car, overlander or daily driver is pushed to the limit. If you are out of the strike zone of where your oil pressure should be then it is best to stop your car immediately and check it over before something catastrophic happens.
